Federal e-Petition
A new petition (e-6589) calling for an end to fur farming in Canada is available for Canadians to sign – and the urgency is clear. This formal House of Commons e-Petition was sponsored by NDP MP Gord Johns (Courtenay-Alberni) and outlines the issues associated with fur farming; it calls on the Government of Canada to prohibit the practice for all species.
